Do you know a young man between the ages of 12 and 21? Do you know a young man who would enjoy being part of an organization where he can make friends and plan and take part in fun events? Do you know a young man who would benefit from being part of an organization for young men that provides dedicated mentors who guide them as they learn and put into practice leadership skills? Do you know a young man who you would like to see be part of an organization whose members pledge to live their lives by the virtues and precepts of love for parents, belief in a higher power, courtesy, comradeship, fidelity, cleanness, and patriotism?
If you do know such a young man, L.L. Lockard Chapter in Danville urges you to tell him about DeMolay. We invite you to have him fill out a membership application and bring him to Danville on November 5th to experience the degrees of DeMolay and to begin his DeMolay Journey. A young man’s parents, guardians, and grandparents are invited to join us for lunch and to witness the degrees and presentations. It will be a historic time as Lockard Chapter receives its Charter that day and there is no better time for a young man to join DeMolay!
Everything will take place at the Danville Masonic Center at 109 W. North St., Danville, IL in conjunction with the Valley of Danville Fall Reunion. The approximate schedule for the day will be as follows:
12:00 pm- Lunch provided by the Valley of Danville. (Please RSVP by calling their office at 217-446-7620 or by emailing the Chapter at lockarddemolay@gmail.com to let us know how many will eat lunch with us.)
12:30 pm- Degree set-up and Chapter Opening.
1:30 pm- Degree conferral, followed by the presentation of the Charter and remarks.
